Dazzling Jane Coming Soon!

I’m so excited to share Jake and Jane’s story with you guys. I had so much fun writing this one. It’s also my longest book to date, rounding out at nearly 110,000 words.

It’s the first genuine enemies-to-lovers romance I’ve written, where the two main characters just do not get along at all. I teased the two of them in the third novel in this series, Loving Lynsey, where Jake showed up at Jane’s book club meeting as a favor to Justin Westbrooke—who starred in that novel—and it was revealed there that Jake, before he’d become a detective and was still a patrol officer, had written Jane a traffic ticket for rolling through a stop sign, making an enemy out of her for life.

And the funny part is that when my mom read that book, she called me and said, “Hey, are Jake and Jane getting a book?” And I said, “Yeah.” And she immediately went, “Okay, I want that book next.” — I had to disappoint her and tell her she had to wait because there were at least two books that I knew were coming before it.

And, well, the wait is over, and it’s time for Jake and Jane to shine. — If you’re wondering what my mom thought after she finally got to read it nearly three years after asking for it… she absolutely loved it. It was everything she hoped it would be, and I’m hoping everyone else will love it too!

Also, if you think my mom is just saying that cause she’s my mom, I’m here to tell you that she might be my mama, but she’s quick to tell me when she doesn’t like one of my books. I know, cause there’s at least one she was like, “Yeah, I mean, you did good; I’m real proud of you, but I don’t really like it.” So she’s not just out here saying she likes ‘em when she doesn’t. — Ya gotta love an honest mama, y’all. 😂

Having said all that, I’m excited to announce that it’ll be out on September 3rd! — So just two months!

I’ll probably drop some teasers here and there along the way. I’ll definitely be sharing the blurb and book cover soon. But it’s coming, and I’m excited!

I haven’t posted on here in a while, and I’ve got several posts coming over the next few months—mostly book related content, but this one is just for funzies! 😉

Cause we rescued a sweet little stray kitten seven months ago, and like any good pet parent, I’ve got tons of pictures, and I just know you all want to see them.

So, without further ado, meet Cami! 🙂

Those first few weeks, we always had to be sitting on the floor for her to come say hey to us. 🩷 – But she was a brave little baby, and so she’d venture over & climb in our laps. 🩷

No drawstring is safe! 😂 (Also, look how tiny she was! 😍)

I was reading a book, I looked up… and this is what I saw. 🩷 – Also, if you want to be stared at all the time in your own home, get you a cat! 😂

Because of all this, I thought he’d be a pain to write, but instead it was an absolute joy to put Ace down on paper. He is, hands downs, my favorite character that I’ve written yet. (Might be cause I fell a little bit in love with him while I was writing it, but hey, it happens! 😂) *

She’s feisty. A challenge always sparkling in her eyes. Full of life and easy laughter. And Ace, well, Ace is just a man. A man with a bar Hallie keeps walking into.

They’re the last two people anyone ever expected, but the more they’re together, this broken and bruised bartender and this soft, vulnerable, cargo-pants wearing, hammer-wielding woman hiding her own broken pieces behind a thick wall of armor, the more everything changes.

Tempting Hallie Update & Release Date…

In lieu of a teaser today, I’m giving you an update on Tempting Hallie’s publication and what the coming weeks will look like.

So first thing’s first, release date is December 29^th.

Now, I’d originally—and silently, to myself—planned a December 16^th release date. But I did not announce that because I could not guarantee it, and I did not want to do that and then have to backtrack it. If you’ve ever self-published, you know that publishing the e-book is as easy as you blink and it’s done. The paperback, however, takes a little more time and effort, and lining up those releases to coincide with one another can be a little more intricate of a process. (And it can be even more so when; one, said author is a procrastinator—me, I’m said author—and two, well… see bullet point one.)

*** If all is ready prior to December 29^th, I will release Tempting Hallie early. But if not, you can count on December 29^th. ***

Next Monday, December 12^th, there will also not be a teaser, as instead, I’m dropping the book cover and full synopsis for you.

The following Mondays, the 19^th and 26^th, we’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming with two teasers leading up to the release on the 29^th.

So there you have it! Tempting Hallie will be available for purchase on Amazon in both e-book and paperback formats on December 29^th. (It will also be available as part of a Kindle Unlimited subscription.)

So if you’ve been looking forward to Ace and Hallie’s story, it’s almost here, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
