Welcome to Sweetgum Valley!
A small fictional town nestled in the valleys of the North Georgia Mountains. It’s home to so many characters that are near and dear to my heart, and I can’t wait to share their stories with you.
So far, there are six books in this series, all standalone romance novels with guaranteed HEAs. You can read them in any order that you wish.
Currently Available on Amazon: (Paperback, eBook, and Kindle Unlimited)

After five years away from home, Annaleigh Branson has moved back to Sweetgum Valley. At the top of her to-do list are plans to reconnect with her family and build her very own photography business. Nowhere on that list are there plans to find herself in the company of Chris Henderson. — The man she once loved and then lost. — He can take his arrogant attitude and his sinfully handsome good looks and get lost as far as she’s concerned.
Chris has no desire to ever see or speak to Annaleigh again. Finding out she’s moved back home doesn’t exactly give him the warm and fuzzies. In fact, it does the opposite. So when they keep getting thrown together by meddling friends and family… he’s decidedly unhappy about it. — It doesn’t matter if he’s still drawn to her like a moth to a flame. He’s not interested.
She doesn’t want him. He doesn’t want her. They don’t want each other.
But as they begin to lose perspective, fighting fate gets a little harder. Feelings resurface, old memories slip back in, and resolve washes away… leading to a second chance romance neither one saw coming.

There is nothing worse than a devastatingly handsome man with smoldering glances and knee-weakening kisses. Or at least that’s Charley Branson’s philosophy on men. She prefers a simple life. One that includes her cat, steaming cups of hot tea, late-night dates with her treadmill, and relaxing afternoons curled up with a good book. She doesn’t need anything more than that. So she certainly doesn’t need Parker Davis, devastatingly handsome man with piercing blue eyes who leaves her tongue-tied and a little breathless.
Parker Davis, by contrast, doesn’t know the first thing about a simple life. He doesn’t even know what one looks like. Well, he didn’t. Until the rug was pulled out from underneath him, and the multi-millionaire’s son is now dead broke, working a retail job at a hardware store. Lucky for him, his new neighbor is not only helpful, she’s pretty. — And anything but simple.
With Charley’s put-together life coming undone, and Parker’s already unraveling at his feet, can these two find their way to each other? Or will her past overshadow the present and steal the future away from them? Because when these two opposites attract… it’s bound to be a wild ride.

Love at first… fender bender? Not hardly.
When Justin Westbrooke’s truck slammed into the back of Lynsey Reed’s car at a crosswalk, she decided on the spot that she didn’t like the man. He was arrogant, domineering, and high-handed. Was he smokin’ hot? Yeah. But that didn’t matter. She was a single mom, new to Sweetgum Valley, and she didn’t need a man like him entering her life and turning her world upside down.
Justin Westbrooke took one look at Lynsey Reed and wanted to turn her world upside down. She was a pretty little spitfire who challenged him at every turn and made him work for every inch of ground he gained. — And he certainly had no intention of losing any.
From spaghetti dinners to hiking trips, a date gone bad and family game night… the walls start coming down. Turns out, Justin’s not as bad as Lynsey originally took him for, and Justin finds himself charmed not only by Lynsey, but her two-year-old daughter.
Love at first sight? Not hardly.
But love? Most definitely.
Now the only thing left is to risk it all, something Lynsey’s not good at, and Justin only does when it’s a sure bet. — Good thing he’s betting on Lynsey this time.

What does a spunky vlogger and a grouchy auto body technician have in common?
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
It’s Ella Westbrooke’s favorite time of year. Pumpkins, fall festivals, corn mazes… kisses in a back alley? What? Heck yeah!
Christmas lights, fuzzy Rudolph socks, holiday movies… cuddles on the couch with a sexy auto body technician? Huh? What? Shoot, sign her up!
Ella has a job to do. Specifically, to whip out her camera and film all these fun, festive activities for everyone on the internet, but surely she has some time to spare for kissing and cuddling Gabriel Hall, grouchy-mcgrouch-pants, the auto body guy who doesn’t want to like her, but totally does.
Right?
Gabriel Hall hates this time of year. Hayrides, face paintings, pumpkin spice… late night corn maze hookups? What? Absolutely not.
Christmas decorations, family gatherings, gift exchanges… snuggling up with kittens and a spunky vlogger who wears socks that jingle? Huh? NO! Capital N. Capital O. NO!
Gabriel wants nothing to do with Ella. And he definitely doesn’t want to be splashed all over the internet. He’d prefer she stay in her lane, and he’ll stay in his. Simple. So surely there’s no way he’s caught up in a corn maze rendezvous after dark, or getting roped into watching Christmas rom-coms with Ella Westbrooke, the cheery, spunky, kitten-loving vlogger who he doesn’t even like.
Right?

Two people… impossible odds…
When Hallie Henderson has to rush her landlady’s cat to the vet late one night, she doesn’t expect her landlady to insist upon taking Ace O’Hanlon, of all people, with her as backup. The man runs hot and cold, can go from a smile to moody and broody in under two seconds, and has spent years making no bones about hating her brother.
But in one night, Ace’s low rumble of laughter brings a smile to Hallie’s face, a little witty back-and-forth banter ensues, Hallie issues a long-overdue thank you, Ace renders first aid, and Hallie finds out that Ace—accidentally though it was—once saw her half-naked on a storage room security feed in his bar. — Awkward!
… one night that changes everything…
When Hallie shows up on Ace’s doorstep in the middle of the night, sporting her pajamas and a pair of goofy bedroom slippers, Ace is, naturally, confused. When they end up at the animal hospital after hours with no one but each other for company, he’s forced to see her outside of the connection they’ve always shared. — Her brother.
She’s feisty. A challenge always sparkling in her eyes. Full of life and easy laughter. And Ace, well, Ace is just a man. A man with a bar Hallie keeps walking into.
They’re the last two people anyone ever expected, but the more they’re together, this broken and bruised bartender and this soft, vulnerable, cargo-pants wearing, hammer-wielding woman hiding her own broken pieces behind a thick wall of armor, the more everything changes.

It was the traffic citation heard ‘round the world. — The world of Sweetgum Valley, at least.
Almost four years ago, Jake pulled Jane over for rolling through a stop sign, and it all ended in a fiery exchange and a traffic citation with Jane’s name on it.
Jane has never forgotten, nor has she forgiven.
—
Jane may seem like a pint-sized, unassuming little librarian with her signature square-frame glasses, bookish tees, and obsessions with romance novels and sugary snacks… but make no mistake, an unassuming little librarian she is not. No, Jane Jacobs is, in fact, a raging, fire-breathing dragon who gets her kicks throwing Jake all the sass and attitude, and he’s had just about enough of it.
Jake may seem like a nice, friendly detective with a gorgeous smile and golden-amber eyes a woman could get lost in, but make no mistake, a nice, friendly detective he is not. No, Jake Wilson is, in fact, an arrogant, ticket-writing tool who gets his kicks being a general nuisance to Jane, and all of society, and Jane will never, ever let his hypocrisy, or that dang ticket, go.
