Heather Threatte is a contemporary romance novelist and author of the small-town romance, Sweetgum Valley Series. Married, with one cuddly, furry black Labrador and one too-cute-for-her-own-good Calico kitty cat at home, she lives on the East Coast. When she’s not writing all things romance, she’s probably reading all things romance, watching some sci-fi something, or nagging her husband to play board games.

It all started when she was fourteen. She was killing time browsing books at the grocery store while her mom shopped and, on a whim, convinced her mom to buy her a book before they left. That book was a romance novel. She went home, stayed up late, read it in one night, and became obsessed with all things romance. She’s never looked back, and now she writes them as often as she reads them.
