Scooby-Doo, Crafts, and Quality Time…

All three of these things rolled into one make for a fantastic time! πŸ™‚

My husband & I painted this awesome picture frame yesterday. Artistic, aren’t we? Lol… it was fun though. Simple, fun, and relaxing. My kind of good time! — We’re going to be taking our family Christmas photos soon & so we decided to get crafty with it. — So we made magic happen…. and wallah, awesome chalkboard Christmas frame! So easy even I can do it, Lol! πŸ™‚

We also watched Scooby-Doo, the reboot from a couple of years ago. (In fact, I am watching it right now. The kid in me just loves this stuff!) I have to admit though… it is a little weird. When Velma told Shaggy that she texted him & waited up for a reply, then planted a kiss on him in the back of the mystery machine.. I was thrown for a little loop. — Those parts are still strange, but the gang solving mysteries & the bad guys confessing all before calling them a bunch of meddling kids is still pretty cool. — Scooby was always my favorite growing up & I actually own the original ones on DVD… Lol, what can I say? I like my mystery gang. πŸ™‚

Time flies… so make the most of it. Stop what you’re doing, turn on Scooby-Doo, paint things, & spend time laughing with the people you love. (Haha, you get the gist.) — You can’t have time back, but you can always have the memories you made in those moments of time. — Those are priceless & precious. πŸ™‚ Β — (Not Lord of the Rings precious, cause that was just creepy. πŸ˜‰ Β )

  1. You can’t have time back, but you can always have the memories you made in those moments of time. β€” Those are priceless & precious …. so true!! PS I love LOTR creepiness πŸ˜‰

    • Haha, funny story. I had never read or watched any of the Lord or the Rings books or movies until the Hobbit came out a couple of years ago. I went along to see it thinking I would just hate it, and instead I loved it.

I told my husband after it was over that it was really great & I wanted to see Lord of the Rings, except I could do without that creepy looking little creature that wandered around in dark places going on & on about precious. — Haha, that’s when I found out he was all up in LOTR! — Though I admit, he may have grown on me a little by the time I got around to the 3rd movie.. Lol, but to this day I think of Gollum every time I hear the word precious.
